Helping people make their life what they want it to be

About Dr. Chad Ritterspach
I am a licensed psychologist who earned my Doctorate of Psychology at Regent University. I have extensive training in empirically-supported treatments for anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. I have worked in a variety of outpatient setting - college campus, community mental health agency, and private practice.
I completed a doctoral internship at Carolinas Medical Center - Randolph, a community-based psychiatric hospital setting. I worked on both the inpatient and outpatient settings. In those areas, I worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I completed psychological evaluations for personality disorders, ADHD, and intellectual/academic achievement
I have worked in private practice with adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, personality-based problems, addictions, and relationship problems. I want to "work myself out of a job" by helping you achieve your goals. I have found this is best done by setting concrete, measurable goals based on your values and how you want to be living your life. Assessing progress toward those goals is a constant process in therapy. Making adjustments and overcoming obstacles to those goals is important throughout the therapy process.
I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and help you achieve your life goals.
